~~
~~
MR-28 (SAE)
As we discussed by phone, the Division would recommend that a
4-6 foot wide rock filter consisting of 3/4"-1" gravel be used
in the small drainage rather than spanning the drainage with
the silt fence. Any concentrated flows that might develop may
be treated and passed more effectively by a rock filter and
the potential of failure of the silt fence may be avoided.
The silt fence and ditch/bean set-up would be appropriate on
either side of this rock filter, exactly as proposed, to treat
any sheet flow and to assist in directing any concentrated
flows to the rock filter.
TR-15 (eliminate ditches and drop structure)
The Division has no concerns with this proposal.
Should you have questions or concerns, please call me.
Sincerely,
.
