X 200% = Relative Percent Difference <br />A Y B <br />13.6 Control Charts <br />Control limits shall be established for control samples, spiked samples, and <br />' duplicate samples. <br />These limits, which measure laboratory performance, shall be based on <br />historical data which has been produced in the laboratory. Procedures shall <br />be in place for monitoring historical performance and should include graphical <br />' (control charts) and/or tabular presentations on the data. Am example of a <br />control chart is provided in the Laboratory Documentation Manual. <br />' Laboratory established control limits should be within the limits prescribed in <br />the applicable method. Laboratory limits should be re-established at least <br />annually. <br />' 14.0 DATA REVIEW AND VALIDATION <br />' The following sections detail data review and validation respgnsibilities for <br />laboratory staff members. Specific job titles referenced in the following sections <br />(which may vary at some ACD laboratories) refer to functional resppnsibilities. A <br />schematic diagram summarizing the complete data review and approval process is <br />provided in Figure 14-1. <br />1 <br />
