If the projects
begins as anticipates and there are no weather delays, or other delays, the sampling is expected to be
completed by August 1.
2. MCC will take spilt spoon samples a[ five foot intervals in each borehole; therefore, there hill be
approximately 200 samples. Standard lab testing for Atterberg limits, gradation and density will be conducted
on the samples.
3. The approximate depth of each borehole will be 25 feet. MCC does not expect to encounter groundlvater in
the boreholes.
Rule 4.07 is applicable to exploration holes and underground openings. The boreholes proposed by MCC in this
revision are for the purpose of obtaining soil charac[eristics. The holes will be approximately 25 feel deep. The
holes will be backfilled with the cuttings, but it is not MCC's intention to place a cement plug in the hole where
these sl[allow boreholes penetrate only soil horizons only. if solid strata is encountered, MCC will follow the
requirements of 4.07.
Please call if you have any questions.
Christine E.
