It should be noted that the loadout
is contained within the boundaries of the AT&SF Railway
Company.
c) 7be operation plan for the loadout facility is
rather basic. Coal is hauled in from the mine by semi-
tractor trailer tricks and dun~xd into the crusher. NCYI'E:
Coal may be stockpiled at t}ie loadout prior to and after
crushing deuending on equipment availability and trans-
portation requirements. 7Y~e coal is then crushed to the
various sizes required by the u.;ers and stockpiled. The
stockpiled coal is then loaded into the awaiting railroad
cars Eor trmisport to the respective markets. The coal
will he sprayed with a chemical dust suppression product
to control dust.
The area has historically been used as a coal
loadout facility prior to '1'BM's obtaining the lease and as
such no topsoil was availe~ble for salvaging. In fact, a
drill hole indicaCccl that the area had been previously used
at least four times as a coal loadout. This was readily
' seen in'the~everburden profile.
The seclirm.~it control system will be comprised of
two sediment ponds and collection ditches leading into the
ponds. '17~e designs of the ponds and ditches are as follows:
