VRAIN LAKE GRADING IMPROVEMENT PLANS <br />I ~ Page 19 <br />~ ~ approved amendments and shall be reviewed onsite by the SWMP <br />1 ' Administrator. <br />The SWMP Administrator shall individually observe each BMP that is shown on <br />' the approved SWMP/Erosion Control Plan or approved amendments. This <br />review shall include completing and signing the "Field Review Report" (see <br />Appendix 'B') for each review date. Any deviations from the approved plan shall <br />` ' be noted on the Report and discussed with the city erosion inspector. The <br />reviewer shall especially note any BMP that is not in compliance with the <br />approved plan/approved amendments. Deficiencies that are not immediately <br />repairable should be reported to the construction superintendent, the owner, or <br />T ~ his/her designee for instructions on how to proceed. The review shall also <br />j include recommended courses of action based on the field review. BMPs shall <br />be reviewed in accordance with the Erosion Control BMP and/or Sediment <br />• , Control BMP specifications and criteria listed hereinafter. <br />The Stormwater Discharge Permit will require that a thorough inspection of the <br />- . storm water management system be performed at least every 14 calendar <br />days, and after every precipitation or snowmelt event. In the event the project <br />has been winterized and/or no construction activity is occurring for an extended <br />- ~ period of time, a field review maybe completed every 30 calendar days with the <br />approval of the Weld County inspector. <br />The following are some of the inspection and maintenance practices that will be <br />. , used to maintain erosion and sediment control BMPs: <br />All measures will be maintained in good working order; if a repair is <br />necessary, it will be initiated within 48 hours of the report. <br />`.: Built-up sediment will be removed from the silt fence when it has reached <br />. ~ one-third the height of the fence, or if the silt fence no longer functions <br />properly. <br />• Built-up sediment will be removed from BMPs when it has reached one-half <br />the height of the BMP, or if the BMP no longer functions properly. <br /> <br />~, <br />
