The revision was received by our
office on October 20, 1995. The Division has the following comments that should be
addressed prior to approval of the revision;
1. Colowyo submitted only one copy of the 1995 exploration map. A complete
application must contain three copies of all maps and revised permit pages. Please
send the Division two additional 1995 exploration maps.
2. Past revisions for exploration drilling at the Colowyo Mine (MR-27 for example)
have included additional pages to the permit that describes the holes to be drilled,
diameter of holes, depth of holes, drill pad dimensions, mud pits if needed, access
roads constructed etc... Please incorporate all of this information on a page that can
be inserted into the permit application package.
3. The proposed exploration holes appear to be in the drainage bottom of Taylor
Creek. Only one access road is anticipated by Colowyo, to drill hole UL-95-40.
Please inform the Division how the remaining three holes will be accessed.
4. Please inform the Division of the sediment control features to be used during topsoil
removal and drilling activity in the proposed areas.
