The map submitted with that TR request depicted a portion of the "Proposed
Substation Location" outside the Amendment No. 7 permit boundary. CC&V has provided additional detail on
the attached map showing the electrical substation location within the Amendment No. 7 permit arcs. Please note
that this electrical substation is intended to provide electricity not only for CC&V's operations but also to local
residences and businesses; thus, including it inside the permit boundary is not necessary-. The decision to include
this electrical substation in the above referenced TR request is based on the close proximity of [his activi[} to
CC&V's activities, [he completion of the excavation and haulage by the same contractor that will be finishing
Phase III of the Valley Leach Facility ("VLF") conswction this year, and the likelihood that the excavated
materials will be used in conswction at the VLF or elsewhere at Cresson Project.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at 719-689-4041, if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~~~ f~
Scott A.
