C-81-018
Dear Ms. Pavlik:
Western Fuels-Utah has completed drilling of the sump dewatering hole No. 5 (SDH-5). WFU
plans to pump water from this hole to the existing process pond at SDH-3. The pipe will be
generally laid on surface with little or no disturbance. The pipe will be supported on wooden
poles or some other supporting device across the Red Wash. The total length of the pipe is
estimated to be approximately 1500 teat. The pipe will be 4 to 6 inch Certa Lock PVC type
schedule 40.
With this letter, WFU requests that a minor revision to the permit be approved for extending the
waterline. Map 138 has been revised to show the layout of the proposed pipeline. Page IV-54A
oT the permit has been revised to include the requested approval.
There should be a small increase in the bond amount for dismantling the water pipeline. Any
bond amount computed by DMG should be adequately handled by the bond cushion currently at
DMG's disposal.
Suite #305
405 Urban Street
lakewood, Colorado 80228
Telephone 303/988-9626
Telecopier 303/986-8147
