The revision, once approved, will allow for
limited construction, along with required site grading, of the
preparation plant facility, and the boring of a 1994 development
drill hole.
The limited construction associated with the preparation plant
facility will include the installation of pilings, piling caps,
foundations and associated site grading. During site grading
approximately 5000 CY of material will be borrowed from the spoil
immediately south of the low quality coal stockpile. This material
was to be graded down over the area during final reclamation of the
mine. This should not impact the bond nor the final reclamation of
the site.
limited stoker tonnage and time period in which this will occur no
serious operational or environmental problems are anticipated.
the interim period stoker coal produced at the tipple will be
required to be hauled to the existing stockpile area.
