The mine is operated by Picketwire Process- ing, LLC under the provisions of the Colorado ~Sudace Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1879. The bontl release applicafion was sub- miaetl by Picketwire Processing, LLC on Apol 15, 2005. The permit- tee is requesting a bond reduction for the aaivhies previousty ap- proved and bonded but never irtr plemented. The penninee is also requesting a Phase 1 bond release for work completed at the she on 35.14 acres. The bontl release amount requested is $293,090.00, antl when subtracted from the cur- rent reclama9on liabiliy amount of $3,038,059.00 resuhs In a new reclamation liability amount of $2,744 969.00.; Tha, affected area approximately 25 miles west of ~ - Trinidad, Colorado.
