MANAGEMENT <br />The DMG's letter dated August 27, 2003, transmitted its adequacy review for the referenced <br />Succession of Operators. Following are Central Appalachia Mining LLC's (CAM) responses to the <br />DMG's comments and concerns: <br />1. Enclosed is a revised and original certified board resolution verifying that James D. Slater <br />is authorized to sign the bond. A memorandum is enclosed which states CAM Holdings <br />LLC, does not have a company seal <br />2. Enclosed are Appendix A, pages 14-16. The missing pages also respond to the DMG's <br />adequacy commend 1.b. regarding the officers, directors (members) and owners of CAM <br />Holdings LLC. <br />3.
