~~
~ 219

~ ~ 1 including those we discussed this morning?
2 A My understanding is the mine operation
3 at
eak demand is
i
t
i
thi
th
p
go
ng
o requ
re some
ng on
e
4 order of 500 acre-feet per year and, as I think i
5 mentioned, we are looking at, on the order of
6 1650 acre-feet per year being available of historic
7 consumptive use to be converted to mining use.
' 8 So there is -- it's very conservative --
9 there is a lot of extra water there, potentially.
' 10 Q You have b
n involved in the
ee
11 preparation of the augmentation plan. Do you see
12 it as being a conservative plan?
13 A I think it's a very conservative plan in
l4 that we do not get into some of the typical cycles
15 that you get into with an augmentation plan, where
16 you are worried about some return flow here or
17 there.
18 We basically say any water, when it
19 goes into the system, is going to be 100 percent
20 consumed. So it's a very easy system to administer
21 from that standpoint. There is not a lot of
22 components to it.
23 q What is your -- do you have an opinion
24 on the
robabilit
that that
ro~+ed
lan will be a
p
y
p
pp
25 by the water court, based on your experience?
AGREN, SLANDO b BILLINGS
