The USGS did
comparative testing of selected elements from pore volumes one, two and four. The analytical
technique was ICP-MS. I have hand-written the comparisons on the USGS spread sheet. A review
of the data show that the comparison of analytical data generated by Barringer and USGS are good
with the exception of molybdenum. The concentrations of molybdenum were an order of magnitude
less by the confirmation of ICP-MS.
Also provided are analytical results of samples obtained from pore volume 29. A review of the data
shows that drinking water standards were not exceeded with the exception of sulfate, which
approximated levels measured in the leaching medium.
If you have any questions regarding this information or require further information, please contact
me at(800)288-2657.
Sincerely,
C N
Job Ad Pkk
.G.
inc aVHydrPn ogeolo gist
Attachments
cc: Mr. Chris Varra—Varra Companies
Mr. Trevor Jiricek—Weld County Health Department
Ms.Christina Kaminikar-Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
N
P.O.
