PC2 segment will follow the rail tunnel and emerge at the existing portal in the <br /> • upper Williams Fork River Valley. Once the conveyor emerges from the portal, <br /> conveyor modules will be mounted on concrete ties (following removal of the <br /> existing rail) on the existing and presently permitted rail system right-of-way <br /> (ROW). At the portal, an oversized three-quarter fixed cover with the open side <br /> to the south will be mounted over the conveyor for weather protection. <br /> The PC2 conveyor will follow the existing rail alignment for approximately 3950 <br /> feet until the rail bench turns north toward the mill. At this point, the conveyor will <br /> leave the rail bench and will be elevated on a structural truss for a distance of <br /> 560 feet to the PC2/PC3 transfer house. This elevated section of conveyor will <br /> be accessed by a 3 foot wide walkway along both sides of the conveyor. <br /> Conveyor PC3 will carry the ore from the PC2/PC3 transfer house to the mill <br /> • along a route which will cover 21,567 feet, approximately 6000 feet of which will <br /> be on the proposed addition to the affected land subject to this Amendment. The <br /> general specifications for the PC3 segment are: <br /> • Length 21,567 feet <br /> • Lift 230 feet <br /> • Highest Point 9363 feet msl <br /> • Belt Width 48 inches <br /> • Maximum Speed 885 fpm <br /> • Design Capacity 2500 tph <br /> • Installed Drive Power 4 x 1000 HP electric motors <br /> • Belt Cover Thicknesses 5/8 inches top x 5/16 inches <br /> The PC3 Conveyor segment is designed with the ability to negotiate the terrain <br /> along its route. The PC3 Conveyor will receive ore from the PC2 segment at the <br /> transfer house at an elevation of 9010 feet msl.
