CO 81501 <br />February 7, 1978 <br />Cotter Corporation <br />1129 Colorado Avenue #1205 <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501 <br />Gentlemen: <br />FEB_ 8 1J78 <br />This will advise that Cotter Corporation has a legal right to enter upon <br />and mine (subject to the provisions and requirements of the mining lease <br />referred to below) that certain property described in Exhibit "A" attacheF <br />hereto. <br />~~ <br />Cotter Corporation entered into a certain lease respecting the Exhibit <br />"A" property with the United States of America, now represented by the <br />U. S. Department of Energy, known as Mining Lease #AT(05-1)-ML-60.8- <br />C-SM-18 on the 18th day of April, 1974. Said lease authorized Cotter to <br />enter upon and mine the Exhibit "A" property for a primary term of ten <br />(10) years and extension for an additional ten-year period. <br />The United States of America is owner of the Exhibit "A" property.
