2. Proof of noncompliance will make the Contractor liable for any corrective action <br />which the Engineer feels is prudent including complete removal and replacement <br />of defective material. <br />Nothing contained herein is intended to imply that the Contractor does not have <br />the right to have tests performed on any material at any time for his own <br />information and job control so long as the Engineer does not assume <br />responsibility for costs or for giving them consideration when appraising quality <br />of materials. <br />1.03 TEST REPORTS <br />Reports of al] tests made by testing laboratories shall be distributed by the testing laboratory as <br />follows: <br />1 copy -Contractor <br />1 copy -applicable supplier or Subcontractor <br />] copy -Engineer <br />Other copies - as directed. <br />1.04 CONTRACTOR'S QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM <br />A. General <br />The Contractor shall establish a quality control system to perform sufficient inspection <br />and tests of all items of work, including that of Subcontractors, to insure conformance to <br />the Contract Documents for materials, workmanship, construction, finish, functional <br />performance and identification. This control shall be established for all construction <br />except where the Contract Documents provide for specific compliance tests by testing <br />laboratories or the Engineer. The Contractor's quality control system shall specifically <br />include all testing required by the various sections of the Specifications. <br />The Contractor's quality control system is the means by which he assures himself that his <br />construction complies with the requirements of the Contract Documents.
