RECLAMATION PLAN 1. General Reclamation Plan EXHIBIT E The total disturbed azea to be reclaimed under this permit is 63.1 acres. The post-mining land use for the entire permit azea will be wildlife habitat and recreation. Wetlands will be planted along the perimeter of the lake, and dry rangeland will exist on the flat azeas above the lake, and on the slopes of the lake. Road access will be maintained to the lakes as shown on Map F. Map F also shows the post-mining topography and identifies the wetland and dry rangeland azeas. Table E-1 shows the distribution of reclaimed azeas. Since the phases for the remaining mining will be mined to the final slope, no backfilling will be needed. Topsoil will be replaced on all graded azeas except those azeas that aze 5 feet or more below expected water level. Topsoil is available from the stockpiles shown on Map C-1 and C-2. By concurrently mining and reclaiming the Phases, the acreage which is unreclaimed will be minimized, which will make the worst case reclamation smaller and thus, the bond will be smaller. All slopes will be 2H:1 V with the exception of the first 6 feet below the water level, which will be 3H:1 V slope. The worst case reclamation scenario occurs at the current site conditions at the end of 2006. At this point the unreclaimed azea will be the lazgest and topsoil will need to be replaced on the entire pit bottom.
