Gonima <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Minerals & Geology <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 / <br />Re: Siegrist Construction Company, (Permit No. M-1982-015) (CHS #47717) <br />Dear Ms. Gonima: <br />This is to acknowledge receipt of your correspondence dated March 29, 2006 (received by our office on <br />March 30) concerning the project listed above. <br />A search of the Colorado Cultural Resource Inventory indicated that no surveys for cultural resources have <br />been conducted in the proposed permit area and no cultural resource sites are known [o be located within the <br />proposed permit area. However, our files contain incomplete information for this area, as most of Colorado <br />has not yet been inventoried for cultural resources. There is the possibility that as yet unidentified cultural <br />resources exist within the permit area. <br />Should human remains be discovered during mining activities, the requirements under State law CRS 24-80 <br />part 13 apply and must be followed. <br />Please note that our review of your project is expedited when you indicate the extent of the proposed permit <br />area on a Legible portion of the appropriate and clearly identified 7.5 minute USGS topographic map. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
