Dear Mr. Butala:
On December 21, 2004 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Technical Revision application submitted to
the Division on December 2, 2004, addressing the following:
Revise the mining plan to allow for vertical slope mining.
The terms of the Technical Revision No. 2 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1977-
170. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1977-170 remain in full force and effect.
The Division revised the reclamation cost estimate to take into account the vertical slope mining. The Division currently
holds a bond in the amount of $90,500.00. The new estimated liability amount for the site is $117,500.00. Please submit
an additional bond in the amount of $27,000.00 with 60-days of receipt of this letter. The revision will not be final until
the bond is approved by the Division.
