EXHIBIT E
RECLAMATION PLAN
As stated in Phase 1 Mining Plan, when mining approaches 1800' easterly, reclamation
will start on west permit boundary following at the same rate as mining is moving easterly.
Overburden will be used to cover pit areas and bring north slopes to less than 3:1. Six to twelve
inches (6-12") of topsoil will be spread over these areas. Seeding, mulching and fertilizing will
take place on pit and stockpile areas. As Phase 2 is completed, the entire Phase 1 area will be
sloped, overburden and topsoil spread, seeded, mulched and fertilized.
When Phase 3 is completed, all of Phase 2 & 3 will be reclaimed in the same manner.
The affected areas will be seeded according to grass mixes recommended by the Rio Blanco
County Soil Conservation Service to bring affected areas back to rangeland as it was in pre-
mining times. A weed control program will be developed with the Rio Blanco County Weed
Control District with annual inspections to be made.
~~ ~ y
