Access. Show on a map (USGS quadrangle map or a National Forest map, for example} the <br />claim boundaries, if applicable, and all access needs such as roads and trails, on and off the <br />claim. Specify which Forest Service roads will be used, where maintenance or reconstruction is <br />proposed, and where new construction is necessary. For new constmction, include construction <br />specifications such as widths, grades, etc., location and size of culverts, describe maintenance <br />plans, and the type and size of vehicles and equipment that will use the access routes. <br />See accompanvine attached maps. Existing jeep and logging roads are adequate at this time. Some <br />filling of old, hand-dugpits and trenches across jeep and loeQine roads is necessary for access. <br />No new road construction is necessary at this time. Roads will be maintained for access only during <br />mining_operations by removing_downedtrew. rocks, and mairrtainine water bazs as necessary. <br />Four-wheel drive vehicles will be used for access. Heav~quipment will be roaded in and then <br />"walked" irr_ when needed, to the miningor prospect sites. <br />B. Map, Sketch or Drawing. Show location and layout of the azea of operation. Identify any <br />streams, creeks or springs if known. Show the size and kind of all surface disturbances such as <br />trenches, pits, settling ponds, stream channels and run-off diversions, waste dumps, drill pads, <br />timber disposal or clearance, etc. Include sizes, capacities, acreage, amounts, locations, <br />materials involved, etc. <br />prospect pits aze closed within 2 weeks of openine unless one indicates mineral ootemial It will be <br />locations for the life of this operation unless a new miningpermit is filed <br />(Ijmore space is needed to fill out a bloc~r ojinjormation, use additional sheds and attach to jomr.) <br />
