I5. 6.3.3 EXHIBIT C -MINING PLAN
This section presents the mining plan for Glacier Peak Mining on 17 proposed sites
totaling up to a maximum of 9.96 acres to be excavated or disturbed between 2006 and
2018. Approximately 1/3 of an acre will be excavated per season plus some additional
prospects or previous excavations to where up to 1/2 an acre may be disturbed in any
given year. Additionally, approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of an acre will be reclaimed per
season. Usually one site, approximately 1/4 of an acre will remain open for a season to
complete mineral extraction while a second site is being excavated. Additional
disturbance addressed in this plan is that caused by the footprint of the equipment and
topsoil storage piles where needed.
Note: This application is for slightly less than 10 acres which is allowed under the
Limited Impact Operation (110(2)) reclamation permit. Based on experience from 2003
through 2005 almost none of these sites will be disturbed up to the maximum area. Most
will actually be disturbed less than 60 percent. (Reports for this operation show 0.9 acres
have been reclaimed since 2003 and at present, no excavations are open.) The
application for full, possible acreage precludes going through the permitting process all
over again and allows the operator to excavate leads found during operations.
Final reclamation is planned for fall of 2018. Additional maintenance of reclamation
may continue past this date.
6.3.3 (~(al Proposed excavation and reclamation schedule: (Reference Exhibit E for
the specific site locations).
This schedule is tentative. This represents the general pattern of planned operations.
Actual sites may vary from season to season depending on the availability of specific
mining equipment and types of rock structures encountered. For example, in order to
avoid blasting, a larger track hoe will be used on certain structures. When those
structures are encountered, they will be excavated during the same season at several sites.
GENERAL SCHEDULE OF OPERATIONS GLACIER PEAK MINING
Excavation Reclamation
Year Claim Site Approx.
acrea a Site Approx.
Acrea e
2006 Smoky Hawk
Elk Horn B 0.25 B 0.25
Smo Hawk C 0.1
Wolf Fan O 0.05

2007 Smo Hawk A 0.1 B Finished
Smok Do C 0.1 A 0.1
Wolf Fan O 0.1 C 0.1
Wolf Fan P 0.05
