The original lease was granted to Cotter in 1974 by the U. S. Atomic Energy <br />Commission and this was revised in 1.996. The current lease number for this property is <br />DE-RL04-96GJ89463. The property is owned by the United States Government and <br />administered in part by the United States Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and <br />through the mineral lease program of the United States Department of Energy (USDOE). <br />Cotter Corporation deals with the mineral lease program of the USDOE for the mining <br />and surface portion of the property that deals with the mine disturbance.
