The irrigation pipeline will convey water pumped from the West
Pit and interceptor wells to the pumping vault in the new irrigation pond at the ranch.
If after inspection, it appeazs that part, or all, of the existing pipeline will not be
serviceable in this function, they may be replaced with new sections. These sections
may be replaced by slip-lining (pulling new 6 or 8-inch sections of high density
polyethylene pipe through the existing 10-inch steel line), or by conventional
trenching methods as shown on the Design Drawings. In either case, the pipeline will
have the capacity to convey the flow from the West Pit wells and the two alluvial
aquifer interceptor wells.
The following design conditions were developed to guide the irrigation pipeline
design process:
Battle Mountain Resources, /nc. 2~ Telesm Solutions, Inc.
P:Uhvjecu\212-Newmovt(SenWis)\SaN.u¢\Peermit Amendmem- West Pil Mavgemevt\V4 Report&PDFS\PermitAmendmen~ v4.doc October 2006
