PO
Base Products
Tony F. Appelhanz
62339 W. LaSalle Rd.
Montrose, CO 81401
970-249-3061
EXHIBIT'L
RECLAMATION COST
Sloping will be the greatest cost. I Intend to maintain correct slope as material is
removed. No added handling. Seeding will follow Soil Conservation Service's recommendation
with the same seed mix approved on portion already permitted. Fence line between Base
Products and Delta Sand and Gavel totals 3969.41'minus 459 (ad)oiner: Million Inns LLC)
the total is 3519.41'. If this fence line is placed down on Pit Floor as planned by adjoiners, their
will be no sloping required here. This leaves 1808.64' to be sloped and seeded. The portion
contained in Succession Approval No. SO-001 Is complete, except that which could not be done
around the two power poles that were relocated this last year. This leaves only the 698.94'on
the East-West boundary (with a large portion already sloped) plus the 459 between adjolner,
Million Inns LLC, and myself plus 278.88'on the NW corner. Total 1427.82'. Measuring the
distance on survey map. I get 11.5* times scale of 1'=s 200' totaling 2250'. This is the distance
to be sloped and seeded on Permit No. M-94-053 when approved. Therefore the amended
portion will have less distance than original Permit No. M-94-053. The direction of removal will
continue in the same direction and planned rate as before. I see no reason for the amended
permit to increase this figure.
