`' ~ ~ ,1 // `INTERNATIONAL URANIUM (USA) CORPORATION
October 3, 2006
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
Department of Natural Resources
701 Camino del Rio
Durango, CO 81301
Dear Mr. Oswald:
Re: West Sunday Mine, Permit M-1981-021
Revised Final Reclamation Map
T
6200 `~
0~ Re~~~eQ'.
C-~ `03~
;,, s
.~~~~9'',~ec/d OA'
~~asa e~ ~
RECEIVED
OCT 1 2 2006
Division of Reclaration,
Mining and Safety
International Uranium (USA) Corporation (the "Operator') hereby submits to the Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety (the "Division") two originals of the updated Final Reclamation Map for the West Sunday
Mine, Permit M-1981-021. One of the original maps is intended for retention on the Division's Durango field
office.
The updated Final Reclamation Map shows the projected slopes of the external waste dump faces. Dump
grading can be accomplished by dozing material down slope without transporting any material laterally or
uphill. The southeast corner of the dump is tight against the drainage, but there is sufficient room to grade the
slope if care is taken to avoid material rolling down the slope - a minor amount of cleanup around the
regraded dump toe may be necessary in this area.
The updated Final Reclamation Map is not appreciably changed from the version submitted previously. The
reclamation contours shown are approximate.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Yours very truly,
INTERNATIONAL URA IUM (USA) CORPORATION
~~
Terry ~7.
