As discussed, the area White River Aggregates desires to add to
the permit azea cannot be disturbed prior to approval of the amendment. In that White River Aggregates is adding the
acreage in order to fulfill the Division's requirement to grade the highwalls at the site to avoid a surety increase, and
that the previous deadline set for that grading was May 5, 2004, the Division will extend the deadline for grading of
the highwalls to 60 following the approval of the amendment, as long as the complete amendment.application is
received by the Division no later than May 30, 2004.
Not all of the exhibits listed on the application form will need to be addressed for the amendment application. Those
items that will remain unchanged through the amendment can be referred to the original permit.
