As you may know, RMCC acquired the Del Camino operation from
Owens Bros. Concrete Company in September 2004 and we subsequently applied for and obtained a
succession of operator for Permit No. M-1996-052. As we had initially indicated to the Division last
spring and in the August I Notice, our initial decision was to cease operating temporarily at Del Camino,
concentrate our operations at RMCC's existing mine site in Adams County, and to then transition to our
sites in Weld County like Del Camino. Since August, our business planning objectives have continued to
evolve and, based on those objectives, we intend to continue operating at Del Camino. For this reason, I
am respectfully requesting that the Division cancel our request for Temporary Cessation at that site.
I am available to answer any questions you may have regarding this request. Please feel free to
call me at your convenience.
Thank you.
Since ly yours, ~ s~e-s~
~'!'2C./ ~„ ~
Bill Timmons
General Manager
Aggregates Division
P.O.
