The intent of the cutoff collar is to prevent seepage flow along the sediment pond outlet pipes. Voids within the soil around the collar will reverse this intent. Hand placement and compaction of the material around the cutoff collazs may be required, at the discretion of the engineer or Owner. • In subsection 603.12, Basis of Payment, delete all items for payment except Corrugated Steel Pipe. 2.5.2 Section 625 -Construction Surveying Section 625 of the Standard Specifications is hereby revised for this project as follows: `Replace Subsection 635.04, Contractor Surveying, with the following: - 625.04 Owner Surveying. The Owner shall perform all construction surveying and stakeing that is necessary to complete the project. Construction surveying and staking shall be based on survey control established by theEngineer or Owner. Control Monuments or Right of Way monuments and all other monuments and points that are required by law or regulation to be established and recorded by a P.L.S. shall be reset in accordance with Section 629.
