Re: Adequacy review comments for the East Douglas Creek Gravel Pit 110 to 112
Conversion application, Revision No. CN-1, File No. M-1998-054.

In response to the adequacy review letter that we received for the East Douglas Creek
112 gravel pit conversion application dated August 31, 2004, the following items are
being addressed as follows.
The reclamation plan for East Douglas Creek 112 Gravel pit, will be in compliance with
the conditions of approval accompanying the free use application and permit issued by
the Bweau of Land Management. We will be using the BLM recommended seed mixtwe
and application methods as mentioned in the conditions of approval.
An Integrated Weed Management approach to the prevention, control or containment of
noxious weeds and undesirable plant species will be implemented according to the
Bweau of Land Management Manua19015 -Integrated weed Management. The Rio
Blanco County Weed Department will be responsible for implementing and maintaining
this in accordance with the aforementioned BLM Manual.
The water used aY the site will be treated potable water obtained from the Town of
Rangely at a price of $5.10 per every 1000 gallons. Rio Blanco County Road and Bridge
water trucks will transport the water.
Please see attached proof of publication and signed acknowledgement of receipt by BLM
personnel.
