The amount of material required was based on a liner crest width of 20 feet, 3H:1 V f nal <br />reservoir side slopes, and an average liner height of 20 feet. Review of preliminary reservoir <br />construction design plans suggests that only a limited portion of the liner crest is 20 feet above <br />bedrock and the average height of the liner is more realistically about 16 feet (the average height <br />of the gravel deposit and overburden is only 12 feet). Based on this information, the amount of <br />material necessary to construct 8,000 lineaz feet of liner is 210,000 cubic yazds..
