The
remainder of the pond has been reclaimed to 3:1 slopes (see photograph below).
Pond in southwest comer of C-Pit, Inoking east.
Since the tambined total linear feet of pemtanent highwall to remain on Site {-1,400 feet} is
much less than the approximately 5,000 feet of highwall approved in the 1984 TR, and since
the entire site is fenced to prevent public access, Cemex requests that this minor highwall be
allowed to remain as shown.
Pit D
D-Pit has been reclaimed to dryland pastwe as originally approved. Unpaved reads will
remain as shown on the attached map for permanent ditch and sde access.
Pits E and F
E-Pit has been reclaimed to dryland pasture. F-Pit was not disturbed by mining activities, and
therefore the pond shown on the original reclamation plan was not created. There is currently
a paved road and one residence in northern part of E- and F-Pits, which were constructed after
the sate of the property. These areas are all located south of Hygiene Road {County Road 10)
in Sections 32 and 33, T3N, R70W. 6~' P.M. Cemex is requesting Acreage Release of all
permitted areas in these two Sections through a separate correspondence. Portions of E- and
F-Pft, and areas east of the ooulder Feeder Canal, were prsviousty released from bond in
1990 and 4991.
