An affidavit of publication will be sent to you once Cotter Corporation receives it. Copies of this new notice were also supplied to Montrose County Clerk and Recorder and the BLM office in Montrose, both of which had received copies of the previous notice. Enclosed are stamped receipt copies from these two offices. As pointed out in the letter of August 9, 2004 from your office to Cotter, a copy of the notice was given to San Miguel Power Association, since SMPA holds a recorded easement with Cotter for a power line, part of which crosses a portion of the affected acreage of this amendment. Enclosed is a stamped receipt copy of the notice given SMPA. Furthermore, as an owner of record of a portion of the affected land of this amendment, Cotter has supplied the U.S, Department of Energy with a copy of the Public Notice, including a brief summary of the proposed activities. This notice was mailed to the Grand Junction office of DOE. When the Certified-Return Receipt is received by Cotter, it will be forwazded to your office.
