(Operator) and with the authority to act on behalf of the Operator hereby
requests the following:
Colorado Marble, Inc. wishes to extend the decision date to August 15, 2006 for permit
amendments as per the Mine Land Reclamation Board Orders currently under consideration. The
extension is necessary due to right of entry issues with U.S. Forrest Service Lands lying within
proposed affected land boundaries. The Forrest Service has informed the Operator that they are
fast tracking their efforts to resolve the right of entry issues.
I hope that by extending the decision date we can complete the permitting process by the
date requested herein. Our plan is to continue working to rectifying the remaining issues now
before the Board as expeditiously as possible and come into and remain in compliance with all
the mining laws and regulations for the State of Colorado.
Erica I sincerely appreciate all your assistance in this regard and look forward to working
with you as we continue to proceed towards full compliance.
Re lively
~l
Bob Holloway
President
Monarch Mountain Marble Company, LLC
