T22S-R73W-SW1/45W1/4516 <br />Name/Type and Location of Mine (Legal) <br />Aildiife epeaies Liat: Horned Lark, Thirteen-Lined Ground <br />Squirrel, Meadowlark, White-Tailed Jack Rabbit, Antelope, Elk, <br />Western Jumping Mouse. <br />Endangered/Critical epecies/Impacted: None <br />Critical Habitats/Vegetative Communities Impacted: None <br />Assessment of Impact.: Temporary impact to 9.98 acres of high <br />prairie. If properly reclaimed, losses should only be temporary <br />and will allow wildlife to re-establish use of the site subsequent <br />to cessation of mining and reclamation activities. <br />Mine Reclamation Recommendations (include key species/habitats for <br />which reatoratioa is designed): Topsoil should be properly removed <br />and stockpiled for use during reclamation. If left longer then six <br />months topsoil should be seeded with a mix to prevent wind and <br />water erosion. Final slopes should not exceed 3H:1V. Disturbed <br />areas should be topsoiled and reseeded with a native seed mix <br />similiar to surrounding areas as per SCS recommendations. The site <br />should be fenced and all stock excluded during reclamation until <br />such time that adequate cover exists,per MLRD specifications, for <br />release of bond. <br />Prepared By: David C.
