CONCLUSIONS AND RECOHMENDATIONS <br />1. The net evaporative losses from the proposed lake of the <br />Koenig Pit is 35.99 acre-feet. <br />2. Related consumptive uses for the mining activities are 0.99 <br />acre-feet. <br />3. The replacement water will be the consumptive use portion of <br />Lupton Bottoms Ditch water. Weld County currently holds <br />adequate water supplies on this ditch to cover water <br />consumption of the pit. The annual total of water diverted <br />will be 40.86 acre-feet. <br />4. A pond that has been present on the mine site for many years <br />will be used as a recharge well. Timing of replacements <br />will be done as shown in Table No.4. <br />5. This plan is requested for one year with the option for <br />renewal. <br />7.
