Significant Wildlife Resources <br />This is primarily an area of small game species (~lu~ks, geese, <br />rabbits, etc.) and common non-game species. <br />R. Seasonal Use <br />Ducks and geese, as well as hunters, use the area v,~ry heavily <br />from September through the middle of January. <br />C. Threatened or Endangered Species <br />The Colorado Division of '~lildlife is unaware of a I~~~pulation of <br />threatened or endangered species. An occasional b,~ld eagle ,incl/ <br />or golden eagle may frequent the area, but there ar;~ no knor,n <br />nest sites. <br />'~. Effects on Wildlife <br />There will be very little effect on wildlife duriin~ operations. <br />In fact, according to the Division of Wildlife, U~~•~~iining of:gyration <br />could benefit wildlife by providing ponds for nesting and bre~tcling <br />areas for ducks and geese.
