<br />6.5 Revegetation <br />a. Serf-sustaining - Native species will be used to vegetate the <br />screening mounds. <br />b. Trees - There should be no problem in acquiring sufficient <br />planting stock of the desired species. <br />c. Range - N - A <br />d. Success - Because of the relatively small amount of proposed <br />revegetation and favorable environ~riental conditions, the prob- <br />ability of success will he high. <br />e. Site preparation - The screening mounds will be constructed <br />and prepared with applicable techniques to insure a diverse and <br />long-lasting cover. <br />f, IJeed control - hleed control will be practiced if it is found <br />that their existence and growth adversely affects the proposed <br />reclamation. Noxious weed species which could spreed to adja- <br />cent farmland will be controlled. <br />g. Roadways - N - A <br />h. Planting not required - Planting will not proceed until the <br />screening mounds are constructed to their ultimate size and <br />shape. in addition, planting will not be required in the areas <br />of the permanent ponds. <br />i.
