<br />(ii) Moderate Disturbance -The total azea under this category is less than five acres. It will <br />include overburden shaping, roads, parking, working and equipment storage. The pond area <br />will eventually cover 75%-80% of the entire site. <br />(iii)Minor Disturbance -There will be less than five acres total, which will undergo slope <br />prepazation prior to any revegetation. <br />E. Timetables: <br />(i) Time periods -The material mined from this pit will be used primarily for road base and <br />gravel road maintenance in the southern part of Weld County. It has been estimated that the <br />pit will have a lifetime of 20 yeazs. The pit will be divided into four acres or stages with <br />roughly five yeazs per stage. <br />(ii) Size and locations -Each area will be approximately 10 acres in size. The locations are <br />shown on EXHIBIT C. Each azea will be roughly 300 feet east to west by 1300 feet north <br />and south. <br />(iii) Sequence -Stage 1 will be on the eastern side and operations will progress to the west. <br />EXHIBIT C shows the intended sequence, Stages I-4. <br />F. Soil Profile: <br />The overburden and topsoil is 2 to 3 feet thick and consists of grayish brown login to about <br />10 inches, brown to light yellowish brown clay to 25 inches, and calcareous loamy sand or <br />sandy loam to about 30 inches. <br />The material to be mined consists primarily of freely draining pea-sized gravel to a depth of <br />25 feet and beyond. <br />
