Herein we are responding to each <br />question asked in the adequacy letter; however, we must <br />stress that many of our responses are for edification <br />purposes only. No significant changes in the approved mining <br />or reclamation plans are proposed in the amendment. The <br />information in this response, therefore, should not be <br />construed as altering existing or creating new obligations as <br />to matters not covered by the amendment. we do understand, <br />however, your desire for explanatory information which may <br />enhance your understanding of our program and have tried to <br />answer your questions accordingly. <br />A. Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Maps <br />1. Have all of the roads and buildings been portrayed? See <br />Rule 2.12(3)(b). <br />Yes, to the best of our knowledge, all buildings <br />and roads have been portrayed on the map in accord <br />with rule 2.12(3)(b). <br />B. Mining Plan <br />1. The subsidence on Red Mountain which is directly <br />attributable to the mining operation has not been <br />addressed nor has it been portrayed on the mining plan <br />maps. Please supply this information. <br />2. Please note that the following statement exists on page <br />5-4 of the original application, "Surface subsidence is <br />not expected to occur at Henderson." Since subsidence <br />has occured, what mitigation measures will be taken? <br />
