7. The original plan included a CMP outlet for the stormwater pond, which was later revised to be a riprapped
outlet. The new map did not specifically label the riprapped outlet (which is not a problem) so it is assumed that
this revision does not intend to revise the current outlet design. Please clarify that the outlet is still to be riprapped.
No change to the map is required for this response. (The operator should note that the drainage channel, pond, road
crossing, and outlet are all part of the fast items to be adequately constructed onsite, and to be adequately
maintained for function and capacity.)
Please respond to these items at your earliest convenience. The decision date for this revision is set for July 31,
2004, ff the adequacy issues listed herein are not addressed by the close of business on the decision date, and an
extension of the decision date has not been approved, the revision may be denied.
I may be reached at the Division's Durango field office: 701 Camino del Rio, Room 125, Durango, CO 81301;
telephone 970-247-5193. I look forward to your responses.
Sincerely,
~~.~ ~~t,,,~
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
Ec: Harry Posey, DMG
Cc: Lynn Olin, Bridal Veil Construction
A:\bddal veil tr01 paz/rco
