The permit <br /> will cover an area that is already disturbed by previous sand and <br /> gravel mining. Mining has occurred on the site for an estimated <br /> 40 years. (Please see a copy of a letter from Mr. Martin <br /> Woodring the property owner concerning the history of the <br /> property. ) The majority of the property being included in the <br /> new 112 permit is all previously disturbed. A copy of a recent <br /> air photo is included for your review, along with a copy of the <br /> USGS quad map of the area. <br /> We are under an order from the Mined Land Reclamation Board to <br /> make the 112 application by October 1, 1994 . Please advise me at <br /> your earliest convenience if you suspect an archeological review <br /> is needed. Thank you for your attention to our request.
