In the matter of DMG Permit M1978-056 - 2003 Amendment Submittal:
Dear Carl and Barb:
I left a message for Barb about 9:00 today, and in case I don't hear from her in time, as simple
as it may be, given the time I'm being careful, and in this manner want you to know how I am
preparing this submittal. It is my understanding that the submittal must be in no later than
S:OOPM Monday 10 November 2003, unless the additional 60 days provided by the Division in its
correspondence of 23 September 2003 is honored. Regardless, my intent is to use due diligence
to assure 'Completeness,' given the time may not be forgiving. Therefore, please confirm that
the following will assure completeness. If there is anything in error, or omitted which must occur
to satisfy Barb's office and the Division of Completeness, please let me know in time to honor the
Monday deadline requirements. Hopefully, this letter will save everyone further disappointment
and effort in this matter, so you know your efforts are appreciated. Here is how I will comport
the submittal for Monday:
1) There is an original page 1 to the 27 August 2003 submittal, which I have lined out the
'Durham -Resource Recovery and Land Development Proiect' and typed above it: 'Durham
Sand & Gravel Pit.'
2) I am including an Original Exhibit 5: The latest stamped evaluation from Bruce
Erickson.
3) I have repackaged the original first page along with copies of all Exhibits for convenience to
replace the original exhibits in order to assure that the incorrect name is sanitized from
those exhibits. If I miss any, I will sanitize it in the adequacy but I believe it has been
sterilized from the permit.
4) The only Exhibits I will not replace is Q - Since I am not required to resubmit for those
proofs. I will however provide replacement information for those previous submittals.
5) I will not include the original proof to the Weld County Clerk to the Board under
Exhibit R: I will however include the proof of receipt of this submittal from the Weld
County Clerk to the Board.
6) Finally: The originals from the 27 August Submittal will be added to this submittal, Including:
a) The balance of the 112
a) Exhibit D's original signature from Chris Varra for a Backfill Permit.
b) Exhibit N's original signature from Mel Dinner
7) Finally, it is my understanding that the required Notice is complete and that it is not
necessary to resubmit. Do you need the smaller notice certifying the posting of the
