Baseline reports establish specific resources to be protected by <br />conservation easements, and the public interest served by these easements. Mike has conducted <br />workshops on baseline report methodology for the Colorado Coalition of Land Trusts and other <br />land conservation organizations in Colorado. These projects are real estate transactions that <br />require analysis of risk management, personal and corporate liability, and real estate due <br />diligence and disclosure as applied to natural resource management and land trust industry <br />standards and practices. <br />From 2000 to the present Mike has been a consultant to Adams County Parks Department on the <br />South Platte River Great Outdoors Colorado Legacy Gran[ including the McIntosh Dairy Fazm, <br />Bald Eagle Conservation Easement, and Bromley open space acquisition. Projects include <br />conservation easements, fee simple acquisitions, floodplain issues, agricultural preservation, <br />wildlife management and trail development. The legacy grant covers 12 miles of the South Platte <br />River from Commerce City [o Brighton. <br />RELEVANT PUBLlC SERVLCE <br />• City of Boulder Open Space Board of Trustees 1986-1990 (Chair 1990).
