UC- '
Exhibit C Mining Plan ~ ~ z0~s
Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety
Mining will resume on gravel face from the south to north removing topsoil for reclamation, and the clay pit
mining will also move across pit from south to north.
The product specification is'/. minus pit run. The plus'/. inch rock will be stockpiled and reserved for the
landowner's personal use. Historically, this pit was used in the past by the county. Clyde Couch will be
working an exposed 8 foot face of sand & gravel that currently exists and is stripped of overburden. The pit
excavation will be less than 1 acre, the stockpile area will be % acre and the plant site area wi112 acres. The
existing asphalt plant site area will be used in this operation with access du•ectly onto county road 65.
Clyde Couch will not use any water during this operation nor do we expect to encounter any groundwater. A
nearby reservoir retains excess runoff waters coming into the area and the landowner has filer for an
augmentation plan in District Court l . We do not believe we will affect any existing water rights.
