Please refer to the BLM letter of 29 July 200b. <br />Copy enclosed. <br />1. Shed tfix[urc, <br />Whitewa[er will use the RL.M recommended seed mix. We will <br />substitute Sezpar lndian Ricegrass for Paloma. This reyuest <br />does not apply [o any other areas of this Permit or other MLR <br />Permits that Whi[ewatcr has or is a part of. <br />^<. Revege[ation Areas, <br />8y mutual agreement with BLM the cattle feeding areas of Phase <br />X and 1 will he substituted for Phase 1. Whitewater will use <br />the Pocking methuu ~o prepare the site and hand broadcast the <br />seed mix. Both these steps will 6e overseen by 8L`1. This will <br />provide more seeded area than the original plan and still <br />allow cattle access to water. Refer to Figure t sod 2. <br />3. FencLng, <br />The BLM will fence [he revegetated areas to protect [hem from <br />grazing cattle. Refer to Figure l and 2. <br />4. Changes to Dyke Area Phase 1, <br />With the purchase of [his area by the Federai Government and <br />[bete need to incorporate the take into [he Cpper Colorado <br />River Endangered Fish Recovery Program they have built lnlet- <br />outle[ structures between the Gunnison River and the lake. See <br />Figure l and 2. 'these structures are in place and you have [he <br />Environmental Assessment and Construction Drawings. <br />
