Massey and Semenoff:
Dr. Pendleton forwarded your response to comments and attachments
of June 12, 1992, to my attention for review and commeht. I have
attached the Division's follow-up comments regarding the above
cited documznt. Comments are numbered according to your original
response numbers. Upon receipt of adequate responses, the Division
will be able to approve the Sampling and Analytical Protocol,
submitted as technical revision No. TR-006.
~r
Regarding the choice of an "outside" independent lab to conduct the
monitoring, I have reviewed the SOQ of Water Waste and Land, Inc.
The SOQ appears to be current as of September, 1990. if you wish
for the Division to consider this company you should submit a
current SOQ, and in it specify the personnel and qualifications of
those who will be conducting the sampling. The selection of the
independent third party is not addressed by this letteY.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please coa~tact me or
Jim Pendleton.
Sincerely,
i _ ,
Harry H.
