Due to several permit application deadlines within the last t~-o weeks this
letter is being sent out a little late and staff apologizes for the tardiness.
The weed control plan is acceptable to the Montrose County Weed Control Division and
the Division. All other aspects of the permit aze unchanged at this time. Western Gravel
submitted a fourth plan for the Mahaffey Pit. However, staff has not received a formal
request from Mr. Mahaffey as pemut holder and cannot process the TR at this time.
If you need additional information, please contact me at the Division of Minerals and
Geology, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction,
Colorado 81501, telephone no. 970.241.1117.
Sincerely,
G.
