EXHIBIT J -VEGETATION <br />The pit location is at approximately 9.600 feet in elevation, has a very slight slope to the <br />east. The permit area contains one soil type, that being Pierian and one range site <br />characteristic, that being mountain outwash. <br />The mountain outwash area consists of approximately 25% Arizona Fescue, 10% Sedge, <br />10% bottlebnish squirreltail, 10% Mountain mutely and 5% each of the following; Praire <br />junegrass, Wheatgrass, Slimstem mutely, Needle grass, Blue grams, Indian rice grass, <br />Blue grass, Snowy cinquefoil and Fringed sagebrush. <br />Adjacent to the permit area to the south and west is lodgepole pine vegetative land types. <br />The remaining areas to the north and east and some west appear to be of the mountain <br />outwash vegetative type. Please refer to the aerial photograph of the area in Exhibit B for <br />a visual perspective of the area vegetation. <br />
