In <br />addition,[~FC is submitting a revision for this area as an <br />approved non-coal waste disposal area. <br />The area in question has been used as adump for the past thirty <br />. (30) years, The limits of the•-dump-area are shown on t'.~e <br />attached Figure 1; Surface water runoff wi7.1 drain to an <br />evaporation pond at the eastern most extension of the dump, <br />Lateral leacF±ate will be contained by the berm on the north <br />side of the dump, Downward leaching is unl i!ce ly since tine <br />present bottom is competent enough to hold water. <br />Dump wastes 1•rill be routinely compacted and covered to prevent <br />combust?on and air borne wastes. 41FC will place a maximum of <br />two (7.) feet of soil or mine refuse over the dump, [JFC under- <br />stands the area must be revegetated to meet the standards of <br />Pule 4.15.
